Details in our privacy policy and terms.
Yes. The GA4 MCP is free to use with a free Tag Pilot account. We built it because our customers kept asking their AI tools about GA4, and it is a good way to meet Tag Pilot.
No. The MCP server runs on your own computer and requests reports directly from Google. Your GA4 data never passes through or is stored on our servers. Tag Pilot only helps complete the Google sign-in and token refresh, and stores no Google tokens.
No. It only asks for read-only access (the analytics.readonly permission, shown by Google as "See and download your Google Analytics data") and has no tools that create, edit or delete anything.
Any client that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and local servers: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and others. It needs Node.js 18 or newer.
Your free account issues the API key that connects the MCP to our sign-in service, so you can see where it is used and switch it off at any time by revoking the key.
Google's experimental server asks you to install Python tools and the gcloud CLI, create a Google Cloud project, enable two APIs and set up your own OAuth client. Ours is one command and one Google sign-in, plus tracking-health checks from our work on thousands of GA4 setups.
Run npx -y @tagpilot/ga4-mcp logout, revoke the key on the GA4 MCP page in Tag Pilot, or remove Tag Pilot at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Any one of them stops access.
