Standardise privacy controls with Google Tag Manager
Google Consent Mode is a requirement when using Google Products, it works out-of-the-box with Google Tags connected to Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.
On the other hand, Google Tag Manager features robust consent capabilities that allows you to have fine grained control over tags fire depending on specific consent being granted or denied.
It means tools other than Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads can be wired into the same Consent Management system.
